Building work continues

The beginning of a new modular classroom.

Increasingly building works are developing on our School site, Thank you for your patience on a daily basis!

School goes on as normal and I look forward to Gardening club and the projects ahead including Birdwatching using a go pro  and planting schemes for the Spring term, Thankyou to "Bulrush" for donating a dozen bags of high grade compost.

Great to be Green Teacher of the Year!

Year 6 had a fantastic day out at the Green Teacher awards held in the MAC Theatre, Belfast.  It was a pleasure to have spent the day with them engaged in great eco activities.  The children enjoyed making electricity from potatoes and meeting the Lord Mayor of Belfast.

The day was rounded off with the great news that I received the award of Green Teacher of the Year.  A big thank you to all the children who made this award possible and for their great enthusiasm for all things eco around the school.
